These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed with Sara Lomelli | Paper Floral Art, a UK-based handmade paper flower business specialising in giant and real-size crepe paper flowers.

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms:

About Us - We are Sara Lomelli | Paper Floral Art, based in the United Kingdom. We create handmade crepe paper flowers, including bespoke, made-to-order floral designs for home décor, events, and special occasions.

Products -  All products are:

• Handmade using crepe paper and craft materials

• Made to order unless otherwise stated

• Non-edible decorative items

• Intended for indoor decorative use unless specified. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in size, shape, and colour are normal and not considered faults.

 

Orders & Contract Formation - Your order constitutes an offer to purchase goods from us. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order via email and/or begin production. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch or completion, including where materials are unavailable.

Pricing & Payment - All prices are listed in GBP (£) and exclude VAT as applicable. Full payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via bank transfer.

Made-to-Order & Custom Items - Most of our products are made to order and may include custom colours, sizes, or designs. Custom and personalised items are made specifically for you and are non-resellable.

Once a quote has been issued, confirmed, and payment has been received, no changes can be made to the agreed project, as materials, scheduling, and production will have been organised accordingly.

Any additional requests may be considered at our discretion and only if production allows. Such requests will be subject to additional fees.

 

Delivery - We aim to dispatch orders within the estimated timeframe provided at order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to:

• Handmade production time

• Courier delays

• Peak seasonal demand.

 

Risk in the goods passes to you once they are delivered.

 

Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period) - Where an order is placed at a distance (for example, via email, message, or online enquiry) following a custom quote, you may have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This right allows you to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, unless the item is exempt (see Section 8).

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within this period.

Exempt Items (Custom & Made-to-Order Products) Under UK law, the right to cancel does not apply to goods that are:

• Made to your specifications, or

• Clearly personalised. As most of our crepe paper flowers are handmade to order and often customised, cancellation rights may not apply once production has started.

 

However, this does not affect your statutory rights (see Section 11).

 

Returns & Refunds -  We want you to be happy with your purchase. You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if your item is:

Faulty

• Not as described

• Not fit for purpose. You must notify us within one day and provide evidence of the issue (e.g., photographs). Because items are handmade, minor variations are not considered faults.

 

Return Shipping - Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, you are responsible for return postage costs. If a return is accepted, items must be returned in their original condition, where reasonably possible.

Your Statutory Rights Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK law, including:

• Goods must be of satisfactory quality

• Goods must match their description

• Goods must be fit for purpose

 

These rights cannot be excluded or restricted.

Liability - We are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Damage caused by misuse or improper handling

• Failure to follow care instructions

 

Our total liability is limited to the price paid for the product.

​

Care & Use of Products - Our crepe paper flowers are delicate and should be:

• Kept dry

• Kept away from direct sunlight and heat

• Handled gently

 

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper storage or handling.

Intellectual Property - All designs, photographs, and product descriptions are owned by Sara Lomelli | Paper Floral Art. They must not be copied, reproduced, or resold without permission.

Privacy - We handle personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your information is used only to process orders and communicate with you.

​

Changes to Terms - We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

 

Governing Law - These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
